July Card Club

Last week was the first of the 2014-2015 Card Club meetings.  I’m fortunate enough to have two clubs this year and while one club isn’t meeting until September (for a combined 2 meeting session) I didn’t want to wait to share the projects from this months meeting.

First I had a little treat bag waiting for them filled with chocolates.  This is made by taking a 6 x 4 DSP, scoring on the short side at 1″, and scoring on the long side at 1″, 2.75, 3.75, 5.5.  Score/cut and fold!  I filled it with a little chocolate, pinched the top and used a fun paper clip to hold it together.

Then we had three projects to create.

First we used the new Flower Patch set to create this card.

Then we enjoyed using a few of the new “In Colors” to create three little gift note cards.  The new flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accent Punch pack was used to add a little splash of orange.

Lastly we created this little 3D bag using the envelope punch board.  Isn’t that fun?

Thank you Andrea for a great time and double bonus points for the air conditioning!

(Card Club North Ladies….you’ll get to make these projects plus the September club projects too.  It is going to be a busy night!)
