Last Friday night my good friend and fellow paper crafter invited my mom and I over for a craft night specifically focused on a kit that the three of us purchased a couple of months ago. This kit (which happened to not be Stampin’ Up) is pretty unique compared to anything at least that I’ve seen on the market. It focused on the creation of shaker cards. I’ve made a couple of shaker cards before and I can tell you that they are pretty time consuming but yet fun to make. While this kit didn’t exactly speed up the process, it did come with some really fun elements to really put the “WOW” into the cards.
Here is my mom and my friend working away on the creations. Since it was a Friday night after a long week we focused on CASEing the work of others. To emphasize the work to create these cards I tell you that we only averaged about 1 card every 45 minutes. That is not fast. But look at these results. (remember, these were CASEd and do not represent our own creativity….it just shows our highly honed copying skills)
The photos are in the order that we made the cards. The first one was the hardest and by the last one we weren’t even using any type of confetti sprinkles we were so tired. Thank goodness for the sequin printed card stock! It was a great little craft break with lots of good giggles even if there wasn’t a lot of production.
