I think I’ve finally pushed the limit on the timing of the Make it Mine Challenge. Keep in mind that Susan gets the challenge out on Monday….what day is it???? Well at least it isn’t the next Monday. Can I just say that the “work” thing is really disruptive sometimes to the creative process. Not to mention sleep, laughter, health….you get the point….but that is a whole different posting topic.
Anyway, thankfully the Challenge this week was SUPER simple. I didn’t have to think very hard. That is a good thing since my logical brain checked out about Friday night at 8pm when I finally stopped working….on my day off – but I digress….
See – Super simple challenge Sketch. Susan used her heart punch for her translation.
I was first thinking stars when I saw this sketch but something made me reach for my petite fancy square punch (it was the first punch in the top drawer and I was too tired to open another drawer in search of a star) so I forced myself to run with it. This is what just flowed out….(well it didn’t exactly flow without a few detours)
The DSP is from the Moonlight paper stack…Love those little stacks of coordinating papers!
To give this a little dimension I added the Blue Lagoon silk ribbon and popped the punched pieces with dimensionals.
I think it has a masculine look to it. Not so girly this week. Hope you enjoy it…Better late than never.
