September Card Club

I’m so excited to be hosting the first of my 2015-2016 card clubs this week.  I have a great group of gals in my club again this year and to keep things interesting I also have a few club guests joining in as well.  I’ve put together quite a few projects for them to complete.  A few cards, a “reference” bookmark and of course a 3d item.

Here are the cards…

Not very seasonal, except for the Halloween one.  The gals haven’t seen much with the new catalog so I wanted to be sure and give them a good sample.  I figure the next club meeting in November can be “seasonal”!

The first card emphasizes the beautiful paper in the English Garden DSP pack.  Those sheets with the large flower prints look so great with very little embellishment.  The second uses my favorite flower stamp from the catalog – Garden in Bloom.

Third is of course the Ronald McDonald set for the year – Sprinkles of life.  I love that set….ice cream, clouds, flower bunch, cupcakes….so many options!

Lastly, I had to do something with the fun spider web doilies.  I don’t know what it is about Halloween stuff but I love it!

Another project the girls will put together is the In Color book mark reference.  I hope this to be a nice color reference for them as they start to incorporate the colors into their projects this year.  Worse case they can put it in their catalog to highlight the next card they want to make.

Lastly, I always have a 3d project to create as well.  Of course I’m going with my current favorite of the little paper mug.  I just can’t get enough of this mug.  I have instructions for creating this mug here.  I’m going to get some little bags and some sweets for the gals to finish off their mug and have it ready to “give” to someone right away!

I hope they like all the projects!  I sure had fun creating them!
