About a week ago I shared that I was preparing for another mini swap with my Stampin’ Up team. Well this past week was the actual event. It was so nice just to have a few hours of stamping time with the team. I loved all of the projects and had to share them here. First the tags:
Let me share a little bit about them…
Silent Night – You can’t really tell from the photo but it is on a metallic gold base tag which really makes it sparkle. The Silent night and the snow flakes are from the Wonderland set on page 23 of the holiday catalog.
Flurry – On first glance this looks like a piece of printed paper…but this is actually a multi stamped snowflake image in about three colors. It is so pretty! This is the snowflake and sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes set on page 25
Peace – I didn’t look twice at this stamp in the cataloge on page 20. But it stamps so nice and crisp in this black on white version. Wait until you see the gold embossed version below. It is such a pretty stamp…..now can I avoid adding it to my collection??? I’ve been looking at it a lot more now!
From Santa – Ok, this photo does not do this tag justice. It is so cute on the red foil paper with the silver glimmer belt buckle and the white glitter ribbon. All that shine and glitter just does not photograph well!
I can’t remember who did what tag so lets just thank Carla, Jarvis, Jane and Tracie all together!
Now for the cards:
First up, Carla had us use the heat gun. Have to say that it has been a while. Look at that dove embossed in gold. Isn’t it striking! I love it!
Jane had us work hard with the big shot. Lots of layers and lots of pieces and oh what fun!
Tracie used the Merry Moments DSP stack in a fun way for this card. Paired with the die cut jolly, a fun sentiment and the fun enamel dot! So fun and easy to mass produce.
Jarvis used the super cute fox from the Thankful Forest Friends set on page 43. It is amazing what color does. In the catalog the image is in dark grey…its cute…but when you stamp him in color….it just makes you smile!
Hope you enjoyed these samples. I’ve listed many of the products used below in no particular order
